Sebastian the elf is back in this sequel to Elves Can't
Dunk. This time, Santa's helper finds himself in Florida
in the week before Christmas. When his friends Holly and
polar bear Ralphy come to bring him back to the North
Pole, they all become involved in a football bowl game
with the famous quarterback, Jack Fabulous. It turns out
that Ralphy has a natural talent for the game. He gets so
caught up in his new sport and his new team that he seems
to forget all about his old friends. Sebastian and Holly
realize that they must rescue Ralphy and teach mean Jack
and his teammates the true Christmas spirit. Mr. Skead, a
local author, has written an amusing story that combines
fantasy, a touch of mystery and lots of sports action.
Aimed at readers who are just venturing beyond early
chapter books, this short novel should be especially
appealing to boys ages 7 - 10.
